FSD Feature: 20 Dope Songs In Chicago-New York Collaboration History

Posted on August 27, 2014 by FSD Staff

Twista f/ Raekwon “The Heat” (2010)

In “The Heat” Twista is brilliant – lyrically and rhythmically. He destroys his verse so quickly that looking up the lyrics may be necessary for you to compute. On the last verse, the Chef slows down the pace a bit with a creative and imagistic sixteen. The No I.D. and Legendary Traxster production serves as the platform for two masterful wordsmiths, which serves as the bonus track from Twista’s 2010 album, The Perfect Storm. Trax, Dion, Twista and Rae? Nothing but legends touched this one. Wow.
