Though Com refers to Kanye as “the new Primo,” this is arguably ‘Ye’s most Dilla-inspired track. He even used a sample that Dilla often used, Mountain’s “Long Red,” which was also on “Wouldn’t Get Far.” The primary sample, though, was from Gil-Scott Heron’s “We Almost Lost Detroit,” making it Common’s second appearance on a West-produced Heron sample, the first of which was “My Way Home” from Late Registration. No “Trapped in the Closet” references on this one though, unfortunately.

Even though he sold it, “We Gone Make It” by Jadakiss should’ve been on the list

pretty sure DJ Toomp made “Cant Tell Me Nothing”… it was originally a Jeezy song, whikch is why the ad-lib is there… thats bad, since you have it as his #1 beat… I could be wrong though
The song was produced by kanye AND dj toomp. plus kanye always has a bunch of people do additional vocals and what have you. that does not mean the song was originally for them. he could have had dj toomp take off the ad-libs if he really didnt want it there.
“Live Fast, Die Young” should have made top 5, and it’s not even on the list.
