This Graduation-era revitalization of the “Gold Digger” and “Selfish” model is another beat that Common passed up. Apparently, if Game hadn’t taken it, Kanye would have “made it to a jam” on his own. The sample is primarily Creative Source’s “I’d Find You Anywhere,” which is also used by the Kiss of Death on “By Your Side.” ‘Ye also uses a some sounds taken from Mountain’s “Long Red (Live),” which you’ll recognize on J Dilla’s Donuts, A$AP Rocky’s “Purple Kisses,” and a bunch of others.

pretty sure DJ Toomp made “Cant Tell Me Nothing”… it was originally a Jeezy song, whikch is why the ad-lib is there… thats bad, since you have it as his #1 beat… I could be wrong though
The song was produced by kanye AND dj toomp. plus kanye always has a bunch of people do additional vocals and what have you. that does not mean the song was originally for them. he could have had dj toomp take off the ad-libs if he really didnt want it there.
“Live Fast, Die Young” should have made top 5, and it’s not even on the list.
