8. Kanye West “Heartless” (2008)
Album: 808s & Heartbreak
People often talked about MBDTF in terms of its being an amalgamation of sounds from his older albums, but at first, I couldn’t hear much from 808s. That was until, of course, I heard the strings near the end of “Heartless,” which are almost exactly the same as the strings near the end of “Runaway.” Anyway, everyone knows it was the woodwind instrument that murdered it, sampled from “Ammonia Avenue” By the Alan Parsons Project. The new sound was enough to produce a parody from South Park. Congrats Kanye, you finally made it.

Even though he sold it, “We Gone Make It” by Jadakiss should’ve been on the list
Alchemist made we gone make it.
pretty sure DJ Toomp made “Cant Tell Me Nothing”… it was originally a Jeezy song, whikch is why the ad-lib is there… thats bad, since you have it as his #1 beat… I could be wrong though
The song was produced by kanye AND dj toomp. plus kanye always has a bunch of people do additional vocals and what have you. that does not mean the song was originally for them. he could have had dj toomp take off the ad-libs if he really didnt want it there.
“Live Fast, Die Young” should have made top 5, and it’s not even on the list.
This list must of been made by a 15 year old hipster
