T-Wayne – Turnt Way (Chicago Bop Version)
Sometime in 2013, Bricksquad affiliate T-Wayne released his suttery “Turnt Way”. Sometime in 2014, someone in Chicago decided this song would sound better at double speed and they were right. This do over transforms T-Wayne’s slow lope into an infectious sprint and is a favorite at parties and on bop videos. The sped up version got so popular T-Wayne actually traveled to Chicago to shoot a music video. Listen to the original after the remix and it sounds like it’s moving in slow motion.
Props to Bop for surviving that time when A$AP Ferg nearly killed it by guesting on the Fiesta remix.
But why isn’t the actual best Bop song of 2014 in this list – Don’t Shoot by Heaven & Lil’ Chris????
