FSD Feature: 10 Essential Bop Songs Of 2014

Posted on December 10, 2014 by FSD Staff

Mikey Dollaz – It’s Fee Fee

The lack of proper attention currently focused on bop means some of its best songs get lost in the shuffle. Case in point, Mikey Dollaz’s “It’s Fee Fee”, which currently has 526 views on YouTube. God bless DJ MoonDawg then for doing the Lord’s work by assembling the best bop has to offer on his essential listening mixtapes We Invented the Bop I & II, which features “It’s Fee Fee” along with a clutch of other fantastic tunes. Mikey stands out from the rest of the bop crowd thanks to his elephantine baritone, which rumbles through “It’s Fee Fee” with nearly as much power as the bass itself.

Props to Bop for surviving that time when A$AP Ferg nearly killed it by guesting on the Fiesta remix.

But why isn’t the actual best Bop song of 2014 in this list – Don’t Shoot by Heaven & Lil’ Chris????
