13. Caleb James f/ Chance The Rapper, Tris J & Brian Fresco “Grind Like Me” (2012)
“She bust it wide open like the Jordan sign.” That line alone puts this song comfortably above any of the various manifestations of “Pop That.” Add Fresco, a slurred Chance chorus, and a rare Toothpick Clique (“Tris Man gonna get ’em/Keep a box of toothpicks with him.”) appearance, and there you have the much slept-on anthem “Grind Like Me.” This one deserved a full-length video. Where’s Austin Vesely when you need him?
