40. Common “Take It EZ” (1992)
“Take It EZ” kicked this all off. This was Common’s very first single — his introduction to the world. This was also No ID’s first single and introduction to the world (The Twilite Tone co-produced the record with No ID as part of their production duo, 2 Pc. DRK.) This record is so important. Sure, it may only be a footnote to their careers at this point, but without “Take It EZ” hitting and making an impact, the whole Chicago scene would look vastly different today. Next time you see them, be sure to thank them for this. This opened a lot of doors, and inspired a generation of talent coming up behind them.

Crazy how No ID seemes to just stay so synonymous in his production with Hip-Hop regardless of the style and changes of mainstream music.
i figured “The Real Weight” would be in the top 5.. but it didn’t even make your list. You, my friend are retarded. Corky, not Shante retarded.
