27. Nas f/ Large Professor “Locomotive” (2012)
Sure, No ID is known for making certified hits and chart-toppers these days, but on “Locomotive” from Nasir’s Life Is Good, No ID proved he could still get as grimy as any producer in the biz. He took it to the Rotten Apple on this joint, and gave Nas a boom-bap-ish NYC sounding record from a Chicago perspective. As crazy as that sounds, that’s the best way we can describe it. Oh, and Large Pro does some pigeon calling on it. You can’t beat that.

Crazy how No ID seemes to just stay so synonymous in his production with Hip-Hop regardless of the style and changes of mainstream music.
i figured “The Real Weight” would be in the top 5.. but it didn’t even make your list. You, my friend are retarded. Corky, not Shante retarded.
