7. Common “Soul By The Pound” (1992)
The third single from Com’s debut album was a sampling extravaganza. If you were to look at everything No ID included here it would have your head spinning. The original and the remix were both solid, which featured fans divided as to which one was the dopest. Dion’s work on Can I Borrow A Dollar would kick off a career and a kinship between Com and No ID that has now spanned over 20 years. This record still stands as one of their best pairings to date.
