26. Jay-Z f/ Latoiya Williams “All Around The World” (2002)
No ID is essentially the forefather of the Blueprint sound, but unfortunately, Dion was nowhere to be found on the first Blueprint. But Jay smartened up and grabbed him for a contribution to the Blueprint double disc which dropped a year later.
It’d been a while since the general public had heard No ID on such a high profile project, and for fans of the type of tracks that No ID made for Common, “All Around The World,” must’ve thrown them for a loop. It leaned on the commercial side of things, and was a bright and vibrant record — one of the best on either disc. This was the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship between No ID & Jay.
