31. Plies “Put It On Ya” (2008)
Plies was very, very popular in late-2008. And No ID was making a lot of noise around that time for his work on Ye’s 808s & Heartbreaks, more specifically, the hit “Heartless.” So these two connected for the first single from Plies album, DA REAList. The track was a curveball, but had hit written all over it. It had pop sensibilities with Plies goon appeal — and it did well for both artist and producer – as slid on the charts and became a Top 40 hit.

Crazy how No ID seemes to just stay so synonymous in his production with Hip-Hop regardless of the style and changes of mainstream music.
