100 Great Chicago Rap Songs Of 2012

22. Chance The Rapper – “Juke Juke”
Producer: Caleb James
Album: 10 Day

Chicago is famed for the complex dance/music called juke, and most have fused it with Hip Hop, but few have done a better job at it than Chance the Rapper. “Juke, Juke” starts off slow and melodic, musing a “lil mama” who’s “bad”, then quickly speeds up and takes you on a fun ride that you can’t help but dance to. Chance even uses his limited Spanglish abilities to woo his Latino fans, especially the ladies, and that gains points with us. It’s a piece of musical artistry that will make anyone think they can footwork… Wanna battle?
